"Amazing Family Vacation"  August, 2019
Rating  5/5   We had 12 of us staying here for a family trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton's! This house was perfect for all 12 of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the utensils you would ever want. The view was amazing and we even had a bull moose visit 2 nights we were there. That was probably the most spectacular part of the trip. Would love to go back again soon.

Exceeded my expectations!"    August, 2019
Rating  5/5    The home and location are absolutely wonderful! Roxanne gave us very useful tips regarding Yellowstone, Henry's Lake, and the surrounding areas related to sightseeing, hiking, food, guided tours, etc. etc. We had a great time and I highly recommend staying at this beautiful property. I'm looking forward to going back myself!

"Beautiful Property"  July 2019
Rating 5/5   Absolutely beautiful property close to the West Entrance of Yellowstone! There is a marina close by to rent a boat for the day as well. My family and I had a wonderful vacation!

"What a great way to spend a week visiting Yellowstone Park"   June 2017
Rating 5/ 5 When we first arrived, all the grand kids could say was WOW! We had a great time on our trip , and our home away from home helped to make the trip special. Beautiful Log home with 4 bedrooms and each had its on bathroom which was perfect. Our grandson really enjoyed having the loft all to himself. We had lots of supplies, plenty of condiments, coolers, and even bear spray. (We did not need to use it but we did see a grizzley in the park.) The setting of the house on the lake was fantastic. I could sit on the porch and just enjoy being there. I highly recommend this property. Interacting with the owner was great and what she told us about the property was accurate. I only wish we had more than 1 week. We did not get the chance to fish in the lake or make a fire in the outdoor fire pit. If we ever have a chance to come back, We would stay here again.

"Great Yellowstone Getaway"  July 2019
Rating 5/5   Our family of 9 rented this house for our first trip to Yellowstone National Park. The home was a perfect base for our multiple day trips into the park, and provided the much needed peace and relaxation on our chill days as well. Roxane was easy to communicate with in advance of our trip, and was very responsive whenever I had questions. We enjoyed campfires at night, cooking multiple meals in the well stocked kitchen, game nights on the large dining room table, morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake, and packed picnic lunches for our long days in the park. We would definitely recommend this home to any family or larger group who wants to all be together and enjoy the beautiful mountains and wildlife of this area!

"Memories Made Here"  June 2019
Rating 5/5   This was the perfect home and setting for our 50TH wedding anniversary/Yellowstone adventure with our family. A beautiful rainbow from one end of the lake to the other, snow-capped mountains, and lush green hills will forever be etched in our memories. One will be left in awe by the beauty surrounding you in this fantastic home which has just about everything you will need. It is just a short drive to the West Yellowstone entrance where your adventure awaits.

"Beautiful home with amazing view!"  June 2019
Rating 5/5   This home was perfect for our family with plenty of room for all of us. The amenities were wonderful which made it feel like home. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed the peaceful lake. The distance to Yellowstone was very convenient , but away from the crowds which was nice. We loved our stay here and hope to come back!

"Wonderful vacation!"  May 2019
Rating 5/5     8 of us travelled from Iowa. Some of us have never been to Yellowstone. We were in awe of the beauty, wildlife, hiking, waterfalls and so much more!! And the house we rented had everything we needed and more, including a gorgeous view of Henry Lake and the mountains. We cannot wait to come again!

"Relaxing at Henry's Lake"  May 2019
Rating 5/5   If you are looking for a quiet nature retreat or a base for excursions into Yellowstone, this is it! Great wildlife in the area, and Roxanne provided wonderful tips on local activities and sightseeing. Highly recommended.

"Absolutely beautiful home...peaceful setting!"   July 2017
Rating 5/5   This beautiful home was a joy to stay in for our family vacation. The home was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The layout (including 4 bathrooms) was perfect for our family of 5 plus my parents. Our favorite spot was the back porch. The location is convenient to the west Yellowstone entrance. Roxanne is very organized and wonderful to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

"A log cabin that will surpass your expectations!" June 2016
Rating 5/5  It's hard to determine from a picture and the description what the reality will be. We were totally awed!  Each bedroom has a theme and is decorated beautifully to the theme (trout, moose, elk). There were quilts on each bed and as a quilter I loved these!  The kitchen was stocked as if you were staying at a friends house - coffee, tea, chocolate, condiments, spices, flour, baking powder, every conceivable pot, pan and utensils!   The cabin was spotless and so well maintained! Who would expect DirecTV and Wi-Fi? 3 large bathrooms, one even had a claw foot bathtub! (Claw foot tub removed during 2017 remodel)  And two washing machines and dryers! Pellet stoves (2). Wow!   Then there was wrap around porch. Perfect for enjoying the early morning duck calls and the evening sunset.   The owners provide lots of brochures to various entertainment venues in the area. They also provide a binder with their personal recommendations. We found this book to be invaluable - the write ups were accurate and so helpful - from the river rafting to the nature hikes!  Overall, we couldn't be happier with this lovely cabin by the lake.

"Beautiful Home on Henry's Lake" September 2016
Rating 5/5  My family and I spent two weeks at this beautiful home on Henry's Lake Idaho. It was a great jumping off point for Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and ghost towns of Montana. My brother fly fished almost every day on Henry's lake and caught the biggest brown and rainbow trout I have ever seen. We were able to mark off some bucket list items such as visiting the Tetons, hiking and photographing Upper and Lower Yellowstone Falls, seeing herds of buffalo and elk and fly fishing in the Madison & Gibbons rivers. It was an amazing time for my whole family and the house was just not a rental but felt like home. The home was very comfortable and spacious for a family of 6 and waking up and seeing all the wild life in and around the home was wonderful. We saw bald eagles and hawks and some ducks that like to hang out in the little pond behind the house. We were not able to use the fire pit as we would have liked too because of the high winds and fire restrictions but that did not dampen our fun at all. West Yellowstone MT proved to be a great little town to visit to get all the amenities we needed or just to go have some lunch. Coming in September we knew we were risking the possibility of inclement weather and Idaho did not disappoint, where we had a day that snowed but it was wonderful just to hang out in W. Yellowstone for the day and see the mountain caps become white with snow. The rest of the time we had wonderful weather and even some rain at night which helped with putting out the Berry fire and the fires in Montana.  Thank you again for the use of your wonderful home, it had all the comforts we needed to make out visit to Idaho, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Montana memorable. We would love to come back someday soon.

"Unbelievable"  August 2014
Rating 5/5 My wife and I stayed at this amazing property on Labor Day weekend 2014. This is our second time we've rented this property. We first stayed in 2010 and had a wonderful time. However, since that time the owner's (Greg and Roxane) have made incredible improvements to their luxurious vacation home. They have meticulously provided all the comforts of home (and a few more) but only 15-20 minutes outside of the west entrance of Yellowstone. We're huge football fans so we taped a few games on the DVR and watched them after we spending 10-12 hours touring Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Our weather was very unpredictable (significant rain and quite a bit of hail) but that actually made it fun. One day we captured a magnificent rainbow over Henry's Lake, right in front of the log cabin. Kudo's to Greg and Roxane for a wonderful home away from home that I would recommend to anyone. We will be back!

"Great Family Vacation!"  Sep 2014
Rating 5/5
Thank you so much for sharing your log home with us! It was the perfect location for our family reunion. All seven of us (3 from Florida, 2 from California, and 2 from Denver) had a great time. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 1 child.
The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed for the week. We took turns cooking dinners each night, and everything we needed for that was included.
We went into Yellowstone 4 of the seven days, but still didn't get everything done that we wanted. We did see bison, moose, elk, bear and wolves during our visit!
My mornings were spent bundled up, watching the sunrise over the lake, and evenings were spent around the firepit with s'mores.....perfect! And.....the leaves had just started changing color when we arrived and were reaching their peak as we left......BEAUTIFUL!
We definitely want to return to this area, and when we do, this is the home for us!
I will recommend this house to all of our friends!

"Awesome views and amenities near West Yellowstone!" May 31, 2013
Rating 5/5
You have a lovely home in a beautiful setting. It is right on a lake with great views of surrounding mountains. Your home is very well furnished and equipped, so that it is like being at our own home. We thoroughly enjoyed the week that we spent at your home and using it as a base for traveling to Yellowstone, the Tetons and surrounding areas. We've been recommending your lake home highly to our friends and colleagues as they have asked us about our trip to Yellowstone. We would definitely plan on coming back when we have a chance. Thanks much for making our trip to Yellowstone very memorable!

"My dream home!!!"  June 2013
Rating 5/5
The location of your home could not be any better. It's centrally located with the best views in the 3 state area. For a Cajun from HOT Louisiana, nothing was better than sitting on the porch in the morning drinking coffee and relaxing with the view of Henry Lake. The home was very well stocked with amenities, spacious, spread out and wasn't crowded. Smores by the fire pit was a nightly treat for the children and adults. Not sure of the year but we'll be back to your cabin in the future. On the first morning of our stay a cow moose and her calf walked north between the house and fire pit and to the lakeshore. They swam the lake and disappeared into the trees on the north end. When I receive the photos of the moose swimming I'll forward to you. Thanks for everything.

"Wonderful escape!" June 2013

Beautiful vacation home, very well equipped and wonderful local scenery and wildlife. We loved our stay. It was only 20 minutes away from West Yellowstone, yet felt like it was worlds away from the crowds. Highly recommended!

"Yellowstone Log Home exceeded our expectations."
Rating 5/5
Those lovely pictures used to advertise the Yellowstone Log Home pale in comparison to what we experienced upon our arrival - magnificent Henry's Lake and miles of mountain vistas! The home comfortabley accommodated our group of 8 adults with indivitual private space along with spacious gathering areas. Upon our arrival in Bozeman , we did our week's provision shopping and headed for Henry's Lake -along the way there were amazing views and we had a preview of Ennis ( small MT town with lovely shops which we took advantage of mid-week ). Whatever was needed to prepare a meal was there - we really appreciated the electric griddle and crock pot. After taking our meals in the very spacious dining room, we would always head for the wonderful deck with its promise of fantastic wrap around views and amazing peacefulness. The firepit was utilized one evening for a "smores" making party - great fun and tasty. The fellows caught several 18" rainbows in the area, which were grilled to perfection on the gas grill. And of course Yellowstone Park is just 20 minutes away - WOW. Yes , a stay at Yellowstone Log Home is HIGHLY recommended.

July 11-16, 2011~ Great cabin, fantastic location, thoughtful amenities, awesome fishing. Perfect for our annual family get-together. We were already familiar with the area attractions which was a plus. Changeable winds on the lake but no bug problems this week! We had a fantastic time. In fact, the term cabin does not do justice to the building. In addition, a close-by boat ramp in a protected tie-up area is "frosting on the cake." Coming from Montana, you can imagine i would take a little more to impress us with a place-on-a-lake but this place does it hands down! Thanks so much for everything.

What a beautiful cabin in such a perfect location! The views are breathtaking and the wildlife is spectacular. Hoping to return some day! We did have a great time! Petra M.~ A superb holiday - weather excellent, no rain! Saw some awesome sights. Highlights: the Yellowstone Canyon, moose drinking in Henry's Fork of the Snake River as we floated by on our raft, views of the snow-capped mountains and the lake from the cabin. Philip and Madeleine, Coventry, England~ Beautiful accommodations set in a beautiful location. Highlights of the visit were visiting the Mesa Falls and of course all the attractions of Yellowstone National Park. We saw a variety of wildlife and enjoyed 'a float' down the Snake River - well worth it. Bernadette and Victor, Grimsby, England

As we arrived at the rental we were greeted by a moose and her calf, followed by a rainbow over the lake, signs of a wonderful 10 days to follow. We had 3 families including 2 boys (6 & 9). The cabin was in excellent condition (better than the photos indicated) and it provided us with a base for exploration of Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Tetons, a time for relaxation and the chance to share some great meals cooked on the grill and in the cabin. We give this cabin and its management excellent ratings. We have stayed in numerous rentals of this type all across the country (Florida, Connecticut, Seattle) and all have been first rate. Thank you for allowing me and my family to enjoy your home. Our stay here was wonderful and the accommodations were perfect. It is a great cabin and we are planning on coming back, perhaps earlier in the season. We did not see any wildlife near the cabin but we did catch 17 - 20" cut throat trout from the back yard! Thanks again!

The view from the cabin was beyond beautiful. From every window we had a great view of the lake and/or the mountains. My husband and I were there with my brother and his family from MA. There was plenty of room and everything we needed was there. Of course we brought tons of food and the kitchen had all we needed to cook and grill out too. My niece (13) and nephew (15) loved the smores by the fire pit. The West entrance to Yellowstone is only 20 minutes away. We took a full day bus tour through Yellowstone which I would recommend. The driver knew where to see the best sights and filled us in on all the Yellowstone details. Also check out the ghost town in Virginia City, MT. A one hour drive through some of the most gorgeous country on earth. Thank you ......we had a great time, the cabin and view were soooo beautiful ....and the whole area was beautiful too.

August 20-September 3, 2010 My first genuine log cabin experience. Massive logs sealed with chinking, inside and out, stacked up to unbelievably high ceilings - an architectural work of art. Every window framed ever-changing views of Henry’s Lake and the surrounding mountains as the sun’s shadows deepened. At the horizon of Henry’s Lake I could see the tips of the Teton Mountains of Teton National Park. It was wonderful to be away from the sounds of the city, to hear and see the ducks and other fowl.  One morning we woke up to see 20 Canadian geese outside. Pintail and other ducks like to swim in the small marshes near the cabin. They know where paradise is. The west entrance to Yellowstone is just 20 minutes. Old Faithful is not far away. The cabin was very comfortable with beds that sink one into dreamland, satellite TV, and cabin furniture that adds to the ambiance. I liked the well-equipped kitchen with a view of Henry’s Lake.  Alyce The highlights of our trip to this cabin on Henry’s Lake were the flock of geese on the grass at dawn. We saw double rainbows across the lake during a thunderstorm. Fish eagles (osprey) patrolled the shoreline. The variety of waterfowl seemed to be endless – sea gulls, ducks, white pelicans. We frequently saw ducks on the lake and in the pond in front of the house. This was truly a rural experience for us urbanites, with all the amenities. Bob
