Kitchen

The kitchen adjoining the great room has a new extra large french door stainless steel refrigerator, stainless steel gas range, stainless steel microwave, and a new stainless steel extra quiet dishwasher. Ample place settings supply 10 people. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook everything from a crock pot meal to a full Thanksgiving dinner.
Available supplies include olive oil, 10 spices, sugar, coffee, and flour.

Well water is filtered to 5 microns and sterilized, as a precaution, to guarantee the highest quality drinking water.

The range vent is vented to the outdoors, to provide great interior air quality.

Dining Room

Enjoy a leisurely dinner with family and friends in this inviting room, lit with a custom handmade antique lantern wagon-wheel chandelier uniquely hanging from a 20 foot ceiling. The dining room table is 3 ft by 7 ft, solid cedar, and seats 10 people comfortably. The room is accented by large elk and white tail deer Denver Bryan canvases, an antique saddle, and other rustic lodge items. The room is heated with a wood pellet stove. Pellets are provided. There is a high chair available, for little ones. Recent dinner guests enjoyed watching muskrats chase ducks around the lakefront pond through the screen-less 5 foot dining room window.

Off of the dining room, there is a large capacity washing machine and dryer.

Trout Master Bedroom and bath

The Trout master bedroom boasts a 20 foot vaulted ceiling and an elegant truss above a queen bed. It may take you a while to find the over 16 trout in the room and identify the different varieties. The room has an adjoining walk-in closet connecting to the master bathroom. A 2017 remodel has provided the master bedroom with a private master bathroom, and a new granite counter. The master bedroom is heated with a propane heater.

Go to sleep while you watch with the moonlight and starlight reflect off the lake. Wake up to sunlight streaming through the 7 foot window. Your alarm clock might be the honks of Canadian geese visiting the property ponds. The bed has a higher end firm mattress with luxurious high thread count sheets.

2017 Trout Master-Bathroom Remodel
We added a wall and a granite counter top. This bathroom has his/her sinks, a shower and toilet. We are delighted to provide our guests with a private bathroom.

The home has two hot water heaters, so there will not be a shortage of hot water.

This high capacity washing machine, is off the dining room. Laundry soap is provided. There is a second washer /dryer in the Moose bathroom. Igloos for picnics are kept on the counter.

Lakeside Fire-pit and Shoreline

Enjoy exclusive lake access with 260 feet of private shoreline or relax just off the deck at the lakeside fire-pit. Ample firewood is provided for your convenience. Around the fire-pit there is bench seating for four and stump seating for seven. Fishing is excellent from a float tube in front of the property during late September and early October. It is a favorite treat of guests to sit on the deck and listen to the water lap the shore.

Elk Bedroom and Bath

Aspen and pine trees accent lovely views of the mountains from the Elk Room. Night sounds can include owl hoots and coyote calls. We have had elk graze and bed down under the trees in the early dark hours of the morning, visible from this window.

The Elk bedroom's 7 foot window faces the annual elk migration route, down from the mountains. This room is lit with two elegant antler table lamps and three custom elk antler sconces overlooking a queen bed. This cozy room is heated by an electric wall heater. The bed is a higher end semi-firm mattress with memory foam top and luxurious high thread-count sheets.

New 2017 Elk Bathroom Remodel
The Elk bedroom has a private bathroom. It contains a comfortable shower, granite counter, and toilet. We took our very large master bathroom and created two bathrooms for the master and elk bedrooms.
We are delighted to provide added privacy to these rooms.

Moose bedroom and bathroom

The Moose bedroom's 7 foot window faces the annual elk migration route. This room has one queen bed with a solid aspen bed-frame, a dresser, and a closet. The adjoining full bathroom has a private entrance from the bedroom. The bathroom is the main bathroom for the house. The room is lit with duck table lamps and antique custom lantern wall sconces. This room is heated with a propane heater. The bed has a higher end firm mattress with luxurious high thread count sheets.

The Moose bathroom has access from both the Moose Bedroom and the Kitchen. This bathroom contains a sink, shower tub, and a toilet.

This bathroom is the main bathroom for the house. Within the bathroom, there is a second regular capacity washing machine and dryer. New granite counter top added in Fall 2015.

Bear Loft Bedroom

The Bear Loft bedroom is on the second floor and contains one queen bed and two twin beds, all with solid aspen headboards. This room is open to the living room. We only allow a maximum of 8 people to stay in our home. Adjoining this bedroom is a bathroom containing a sink, shower, and toilet. The bed room is decorated with a Denver Bryan bear canvas, a large stuffed teddy bear, and a rare jackalope. This room is heated with the propane gas heater in the living room. Being the highest room in the house,it is often the warmest. An added plus is that the extra quiet dish washer cannot be heard in the Bear Loft. The beds are a higher end semi-firm mattress with memory foam top and luxurious high thread-count sheets. The granite counter top was added in 2015.

Wrap-Around Deck

The large 800 square foot deck wraps around two sides of the home, with an unobstructed lake view. A custom wooden three person bench with integrated tables provides a restful dining experience. Seven lounge chairs are also available for outside seating. Cook steaks and burgers on the new three burner barbeque. Read a book or enjoy the sounds of birds, a thunderstorm, or the lake gently lapping the shoreline. There have been special outdoor weddings on the deck.

One Acre Lush Yard

This home has 1.25 acres of lush grass with mature pine and aspen trees, scattered around the property. A deck box contains a soccer ball, football, Frisbee, slip-n-slide, volleyball net and ball, cones, snow sled, and an oscillating sprinkler for kids to play in.

Private Boat Launch with Protected Marina

Renting this home includes access for one boat to be launched or tied up at the marina. It is a post tie-up marina. There is no dock. The marina is one house to the left of the cabin. Henry's Lake is a fishing lake and water skiing is not recommended due to the shallow lake depth (maximum 20 ft) and wake impact to float tubes.
